Hi,

I somehow found my way to this forum through a bunch of links and quite glad as well since I've been looking for a forum that talks about MotoGP and WSBK!

This forum looks really nice and I read a few things here and there.

I'm a rider/racer, 2010 was my first season ever of riding (got a 01 R6) . I use to track my car often so I thought to myself I had to track my bike and after only 300km on the street I did my first track day.I then stopped riding on the street and was track only. After a few track days some local folk said I should try out racing so I participated in 2 club/regional rounds and did ok, it was a blast though.

I was always into anything motorsport, F1, Rallying, Autox, Timeattack, Drifting (before it was mainstream and a media spectacle), MotoGP, Dakar, Touring Cars (ALMS, DTM..etc.) so on and so forth. I admit I had no exposure to WSBK until last year

, but after following it along with MotoGP I have to say I like it a bit more than MotoGP. It hits home to riders more as they are on bikes we can relate to. Just like how I like Touring Cars more than F1. But the glamour of the two GP series is very attractive

I am a BMW fan, been one for as long as I remember. Was ecstatic when the S1000RR came out...and I'm 100% rooting for BMW to do a good showing this year in WSBK. Wasn't much of a Haslam fan but like the fact he wants to eat Biaggi for breakfast which is great motivation for him and I'm sure BMW also wants to eat Aprilia more than anything. My predictions for WSBK....I think Rea is a huge force to be reckon with, he's got serious talent, and if he can keep his arse on the bike he'll be a title contender. I hope Haslam wins. I think the following will all be in contention. Rea, Haslam, Biaggi, Checa, and I wouldn't rule out Ayrton Bodovini as he absolutely dominated like no other in superstock

. Be interesting to see the green machine in '11. All in all very excited for WSBK this year (especially with Bike Cameras finally!!)

MotoGP is exciting this year because of all the team shuffling and rider shuffling, but I feel its just a filler year, the big year is 2012. My thoughts are, will the teams focus on the '11 bike or developing the '12 bike? I can't wait for the Spies vs Lorenzo duals though, and I hope Spies hands Lorenzo an azz whooping

. For the Title, the two factory Yamaha boys, Stoner, and Pedrosa. Can't wait for '12....especially if it brings more teams and riders to the grid.

Sorry for the huge first post! Cheers.
