Hayden On Traction Control: "Shut It Off"

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Austin @ Mar 29 2008, 10:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>TC won't be removed because if they do everyone will see right through the move. The entire reason the formula was changed to 800s was for "safety." Yeah, safety. It's much safer to increase corner speeds at tracks with questionable run off room but reduce top speeds on straights where the only place to go if you crash is straight on down the track. Oh it makes tons of sense...

You are probably right

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>And to whoever suggest riders who want TC banned to ride without it, piss off. Of course TC is faster. There are very few occasions where the opposite holds true and those cases are generally when the electronics packages are so .... that they slow everything down. The only time I can recall it being borderline successful was with the KR211V. Do it now and you're miles behind.

Well, "those" who say that are also making a strong argument for keeping the ABS

I hate that damn ABS...

Well he did mention he wanted to be shown "the error of his ways".

T'was nice to see the bikes spinning up again in qualifying today through that double right part of the Circuit, still nowhere near as fun to watch as the 990's interms of that sideways smokey stuff but at least the race should be good 2morrow.

Well, I did try my best for a couple of posts but I gues TC enabled him to stay on the (wrong) track

um .... I didn't say they had it or they didn't??? ..... as for the context does it matter? was more my point .... and they have never had standard ECU's .....

but that doesn't stop folk asking for it, or asking to have it removed or policed, as I said the have it or not seems very dependent on whether "its broke" for your favourite rider .... but again I find it the height of hypocracy for riders who have used these things ( or not ) suddenly want it changed.

Gee you love to miss translate stuff ....... which is not a great given you are named Babelfish

You don't even care to check what you write?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Why stop at just throttle control .... why not get rid of ABS ..... So we will now have a formula that finds the guy with the best brake and throttle control.
Of course that could have been ironic but I guess that's ruled out with your question above.

Well, I can't translate what you think due to a bug in the current sw realease but I can "translate" what you write and that's done. You were dead wrong both in the matter of ABS and again by denying having said it later. I can't guarantee faultless "translation" but I think this one was pretty dead on.
Btw. It's free of charge
