Hayden drops a hint

thanks bigAl. nice little read. first time i've seen hayden that outspoken. nice to see!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>"This is the time to change: I need to do something different," Hayden was quoted as saying by Motosprint magazine. "I can't say too many things now, but there will be an official announcement very soon.

"I really want to feel again like a teammate, I mean to be in a team where everyone works in the same direction and shares information. I can't wait for that moment to come.

"I've never been put in the conditions to choose. Once they told me that I would have just wasted my time had I even only thought about asking for Bridgestone tyres.

Get out Nicky, you stayed toooo long as it was. .... HRC and .... Pedrosa!

Hayden has been overshadowed by his team mate in his seasons with HRC. It is good for him to exit HRC now. Blame HRC - Yes. Blame Dani - No.

OK, so it's 99.9999% official now.

Glad he's finally got a chance to start talking .... about Dani now. I hope after he officially is a Ducati rider he'll spill all the beans about what's been going on in that garage. I know Nicky isn't the kind of guy who would do that, but I want to hear about it anyway!!!

Blame HRC = Yes
Blame Dani = No
Blame Puig = Yes

Dani is just a puppet with talent, he needs to get away from Puig, I'm sure Dani's ....... would appreciate a split from Puig as well.

I just hope Lorenzo WITH Michelin and Dovi WITH customer Honda will beat Pedrigestone.

YEAHHHHH Ducati is going to have another who can finally tame the beast. Then assdrosa can go sulk in the corner when he wants a ducati after he gets bridgestones. I wonder if honda will let ducati sponsor him.

This announcement will overshadow anything that happens this weekend. Hayden will be treated like a king at Ducati. Imagine, a former champion, getting second rate parts. Something is very wrong there.

Maybe he hurt his heel during the secret test! LOL! I'm glad for Nicky. He's a total class act and deserves one (and only one) more shot at being a title contender.

I think the only two people ducati's GP team ever treated like kings where Loris and Casey. If Nicky stays longer than one year, I'll agree with you.

As soon as Nick signs that paper...he needs to go find Pedro and kick his ....... monkey ...

and then give Alberto a walk by nut smack laughing

^^ Yes but...they need Haydens style now. That is if he actually can ride the beast. And if not exactly like a king it may feel that way in contrast to the .... he has had to put up with for the last 2 years.

^ Seems like a thing I would be tempted to do.

Seen too many really talented riders not "tame the beast" - I'll believe Hayden can ONLY WHEN I SEE IT. (And I'm not from Missouri...)

i got to agree. i think ducati is a big gamble tho. if he does well hrc really will look like twats but if he does a marco he will be finished in motogp.

I think they probably tried to treat Marco like a king, but it just went so very wrong. From what's come out of Suppo, Hayden, and Stoner all three are on the same page regarding what they want in terms of things outside of race performance. Obviously race performance is scarcely a minor consideration, but all sides seem to be looking for the same type of relationship (or at least are unhappy about many of the same things with their current situations).
