Good article on Misano

Funnily enough, DORNA and Michelin showed their hands this year and went someway to proving some of what has been said on this forum.

I know how to level the field, fit the bikes with square wheels.

Sadly these tyres were made by Bridgestone

I was at Misano this year and even as a Rossi fan in the Brutapela, I didn't like the cheering for Lorenzo's highside. Poor taste.

If anything, you wanted Lorenzo to finish in front of Marquez and Dovi to take points away from them, even though Rossi's championship hopes for this year are sadly over, barring a miracle.

Like he doesn't still lurk here looking for topics:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

....... sell out he should know better. All bike forums should publically support each others right to be whatever the .... they want. His forum isn't my cup of tea and I hate moderation but I respected him as a fellow race fan. Don't .... on us in return Krop that kind of attitude won't help build your membership.

Self righteousness is never appealing, particularly since he himself has (perhaps understandably given his site may be how he mainly makes a living) joined the majority of the current motogp media in mainly toeing the party line.

The poster to whom he replied had it right, there is a wealth of knowledge about the sport and bikes, and particularly a long term perspective, on here such as resides in the likes of you, Povol, Arrab and Gaz, which exceeds his imo. I believe even I know more about the history of the sport than he does.

If the slant on here is different than elsewhere, there are enough sites full of Rossi hagiography and in sync with Dorna in general, and surely a broad range of views including from those who don't make a living from the sport is no bad thing. Everyone is biased anyway, and a majority view on almost anything is not always the correct one obviously. Crash seems to have gone back to being fairly unmoderated btw, they were getting hardly any posts, and posts on the MCN site also declined markedly after David's advice re the early and frequent use of the ban hammer.

Imagine krop getting some constructive criticism re slander from duc on twitter. Ok well first someone would have find Duc. Calling Duc your free (don't like that much eh Krop?) forum just got shat on as not worth reading vs all those subscription sites laughs yeah nice try Krop. It ain't what it used to be here but it's still better than nothing.

i am starting to believe in the correlation between negative comments about Rossi and increase in spam on this site.
