My girlfriend finally agreed to go on a trip to Indy at the end of August with me, and we're going to catch the race (and the two days of pre-race stuff) on the 29th. It'll be my first MotoGP race EVER, and I'm pretty psyched about it. I'd love to see Pedrosa win (I'm a fanboy... Last summer I even got my helmet custom painted to match his), but Hayden has been a favourite of mine since his days in AMA when he was duking it out with Mat Mladin.
Anyways, I've got a question (and some preamble) for those of you who have been to a race before: I'm from Toronto, Canada, and our motorcycle gear selection up here is pretty limited, at best. I've been wanting to buy an Alpinestars MX-1 jacket for some time now, but I'm squeamish about buying it over the net without being able to try it on first. So my question is, will there be an Alpinestars vendor at the race in Indianapolis in August, and will I be able to try on some jackets there? Or does anyone know of an Alpinestars dealer within 3 hours drive of Toronto/Buffalo NY?
