Gibernau fan here!

I don't mind tracks that are extremely technical or challenging. Suzuka, for instance. At first, it was almost impossible to stay on the track consistently. Double rights, double lefts, esses, cruel chicanes. once i got the hang of it, I kept telling myself, "wait, i can go faster!"

on my hate list... donington park, and jerez upto an extent. Just can't stay on the gas for too long. Brno is good to watch live, but it's rather boring to play.

Waiting to pick up a more recent version of the game. i want to try out istanbul and laguna seca.

Brno is pretty square. Hate those final corners at Donny. Even if I had RCV carbon brakes on a RS125 I wouldn't be able to follow the line on that second to last corner, but I suck at most video games

I like Suzuka too. It's technical and I usually don't like the technical tracks (technical=Hard
<
), but Suzuka is so fun. And that right-left-right "bump"... It's faster to just charge through the Kitty Litter flat out on an RCV like a 250hp dirt bike than following the track (I'm not a big fan of finesse) You don't bin it unless you lean over

i'l agree to donington park... it sucks. Everything from redgate to the final corner, you end up braking longer than you're on the gas. But suzuka is another matter. It is immensely enjoyable once you get used to it. my favourite spots on the track: the continuous left after the esses, the run from the hairpin to the spoon curves, 130R and casio triangle. I've set fastest laps about five times over on that circuit alone.

now if only i could do it for real!

sorry, i've been away for a bit. i'm actually looking for pictures of great corners in racing. (not onboard shots). I'll put up pictures if i can. i have pictures of the corkscrew at laguna seca, and eau rouge at spa francorchamps. the picture is taken from the end of the corner, it captures the elevation change beautifully.

the fantastic corkscrew at laguna seca... imagine someone pulling off an overtaking move through there.

Frosty's right, Edwards had a real go at Rossi entering in there but no one could overtake through there better than Ben Bostrom. He mastered the pass up the inside when they flick right.

Absolutely.
