Alonso your world championship dreams are over, can you confirm you understand this message

Take that sucker!! Alonso is a sucker, Ferrari is a scumbag!

Alonso, the most bogus racer of all time.

I had the impression you knew at least something about F1, so i'm assuming you are just teasing because you don't like Fernando?

The finale was tense and exciting today, i really didn't see Vettel being lilkely to win before this weekend.

I think this season has been incredible, with Vettel being so quick it looks a bit ominous for the others. Once he becomes a more rounded driver and stops making mistakes he will be difficult to beat. But as ever with F1 the car is important.

Not only me, but 95% of the whole world dislike arrogant and bogus double face people like FA.

Just watch this video and read its comments.

FA is a toxic driver, he destabilizes and crashes all the teams wherever he goes. He destabilized Mclaren and caused a lot of polemic and problems with Hamilton. He caused more and more polemic at Renault, ending with both his manager and team mate fired because of all that problem we already know, he is the main factor that completely destroyed Nelsinho Piquet's career. And now, again, he puts Ferrari image in check with that history of being the number one driver. And all that .... b/c of his sky high pride, the need to be the number one at any cost.

The sport and the world are tired of kinds like Fernando Alonso and Schumacher. They should be banned from F1 for the sake of the sport. The number one driver has to be the best on the track and only there, final dot.

Do you think Felipe Massa just became a weak driver? Ferrari named Alonso the number one since the beginning of the season. Massa knew he would be the #2, so, he decided to not give a .... to help FA or Ferrari.

I hope Red Bull's example starts to save F1's image.

Well, well...so glad that my heart's bet prevailed. Congratulations to Vettel, the 2010 WDC and the new youngest-ever F1 World Champ!

Would not have bet on Vettel..but he deserves this championship as much as any1. Congratulations to him and red bull !

Not only me...

That clears it up thanks. I thought you were attempting to claim he was not amongst the best drivers on the grid, but actually you are just hating on him in a general sense. Thats fine, over here he is not a popular man either.

For sure, I know FA is a skillful driver.

Yes there is no denying that. But besides that we'll probably not see eye to eye on much, i like Alonso and think he is an excellent character for the sport to have. I know i'm in a major minority though.

The right guy won the title, Weber had his chances and threw them away. Do i believe RB favored Vettel, Yes. But through it all, Weber had a chance to sew this up. When he threw away the points lead, he was ...... when it came to team orders. I personally think RB out foxed Ferrari when they used the Weber as a decoy to pit early. Ferrari, thinking Weber was the main competition, bit the bait and followed him in. It was a hail mary on RB part, but it worked. Reading other F1 boards, it was amazing the reaction of Ferarri fans towards Petrov. I guess they didnt realize that Petrov owed him nothing ,and was helping Renault. The weird part was, Alonzo really never got close enough to actually try a pass on Petrov, and he showed his true entitled character when he flipped off Petrov after the race.

Webber wasn't a decoy for Vettel's benefit at all. Mark needed to run an alternative stratergy to have any chance of success, in case you couldn't tell the circuit design is amongst the worst for overtaking. As shown by two or 3 of the sports best overtakers being unable to get much (if anything done). Having said that, Renaults F-duct works extremely well so they have good straight line pace to go with their excellent corner exit traction. I am an Alonso fan, but i think Petrov's driving was admirable, he i looking to lengthen his career in F1 and with all eyes on him he showed quality and made no mistakes, its not surprising Alonso was so frustrated after the race, but he was far more reasonable in his interview.

FA should fire the designer of the latest F1 tracks and not Petrov, nice track but worst for overtaking. Korea was the worst-flooded, where Webber was spunned and hit the barrier. New Tracks should have more run off area and space for over taking and racing.

Realistically Fernando shouldn't be mad at anyone. They knew before they arrived how hard it is to pass at this particular track, and they knew that when they made their questionable stratergy decision.

I am getting a bit tired of the new tracks that all look excellent but are far too similar (as they are all designed by the same man) and are often poor for passing. Run off area however is not an issue, in the most part they have loads and the fact they are all smoothly paved is the cause of a lot of debate.

Did anyone think something was up when Webber wasn't able to match Vettel's pace all weekend, when in all previous races he was able to match or exceed Vettel?

Yea nerves. It's performances like that which make the difference between being champion and not. Since he messed up at Korea Webber seemed pretty much beaten

I feel sorry for Webber for messing up in Korea and losing the champion this year. Next year would be a tough season for him with Ferrari and Mercedez are improving their cars and not to forget McLaren.

Next year is gonna be about tyres and KERS. KERS is something Mercedes had a much better grasp of than Renault a few years ago, and is definitely something that doesn't suit the bigger and heavier drivers like Webber and Kubica. Tyres is anyones guess at the moment.

Tom I'm going to lean on you to explain the merrits of KERS to me, I know what it is, but why are they using it in F1 again...seems video game-ish to me.

Also, your comment about the tires....are you thinking the driver that can adapt quickest could possibly steal some face time with the Pirelli engineers?
