the time is within 5 seconds of start ...... the crowd noise is unbearabe ...... chearing whooping, and just huge throng of excitement noises so that you need earplugs.

The light turns green!! ...

not a sound from the crowd ......... you can even hear the breeze ...

and the gentle hum of 20 to 30 sewing machines as they take off


in reality I think there will be a lot of tyre noises mostly. And that "Zap-enrgised pulse" sound they seem to get these days will echo through CF fairings. SO it will be odd ...... even moreso for the riders ...

I know this has already been posted, but I'll put it back up in case people want to drool some more.

They won't be totally quiet. Any motor spinning at 9000rpm and making power will emit noise. I watched the Isle of Mann videos and they have a futurist whirring noise...very addictive.

i guess the'll have to go back to spokeed tires...

it will be insteresting to see how the riders coup with the lack of sound, I mean how the heck are you suppose to know someone is right there next to you. The dam bike is near slient.

Yeah, you're avatar reminded me to look it up again. Now that the FIM will allow electric bikes, someone needs to build that thing.
