Farewell Nicky

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Agiel7 @ Oct 23 2008, 09:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I honestly don't think we should be putting so much stock on Hayden for his move to Ducati, at least, not on his debut year with the factory team. The tyre situation can throw some of the former Michelin riders off along with testing. Nicky Hayden also has to contend with the fact that he's going to be the number two rider of Ducati to Stoner (look at Marco Melandri, sounds to me that Ducati completely forgot that they had an experienced and consistently strong rider signed with them and invested almost all of their attention on Stoner).
Um, who are you again

Don't get me wrong, Nicky Hayden is a talented rider, but so was Melandri (and look at how his season went with Ducati).

If Nicky can't get along with the Duke, its the end of the road... the only bike left out there that could possibly suit his riding style.

Its a good move, hes got every chance to get back to the top.

Melandri may be tallanted but he gave up almost immediately.I bet Hayden won't give up,he 'll keep trying, and that would make a huge difference.

He described his relationship with honda as being in love with a beautiful girl (RC211V) but not getting along with her parents (HRC)
Dont you mean Rossi said, he was in love with a beautiful Guy, but didnt get along with the Parents.
I wonder if Uccios Parents like Valentino..

I wouldn't shed a tear for Honda. F..them, they didn't deserve such a hard working rider.
No they didn't and I really hope that next year they realise what a mistake they made by backing Pedrosa when Nicky shows what he can do when he has a bike he likes.

They should have already after he stormed on the second day of a recent test like the spoilt and petulant child that he's become.

i think we all have that thought in the back of our minds.
i like marco but now im starting to think its him that has the problem rather than the bike. geez even the Alice ducs have been up the sharp end while marco is running dead last. that bike cant be that ....... bad surely.

The electro800 age theory was killed, butchered like a baby seal by a guy called Marco Melandri.

I agree, Guintoli & Elias might not have set the grid alight, but they both improved as the season went on and Elias got a couple of podiums, Melandri got slower and seemed to give up entirely. He's going to have to change his attitude on the kawasaki, because that thing is going to need a lot of hard work and determination to get anywhere.

I'm glad you know Nicky's riding style and you've ridden all of the bikes on the grid.

Right before the race....Nick needs to go to Pedros side of the garage and take a bit steaming .... in his helmet

I'm on the next plane...

Yeah it sucks for nicky to feel that way, but its Survival of the fittest out there, even after so many years with Honda. Dovi is a very good rider but i dont see him being dominante. This moto gp game is a funny one its always something differnt every year. No one expected Stoner to do what he did last year. In 2006 every one would have laughed if you said Stoner on a ducati on bridgestones was going to dominate 2007. back then it was all about Michellin. So next year who knows what can happen ill be excited to see what happens next year im just sad i have to wait a few months for it.

Or maybe he confirmed that the electro800 age also needs it's set of special skills?
