The poor guy. Is he really that much of a punk or are people just getting angry and jealous at Ducati's success?

Capirossi is throwing a fit so that does not count really, but the Gresini thing is about Ducati showing its strength.

Keep in mind their all Italians so this is all just a 'respect' machismo thing going on...and right now the Big Dog (or Don) is Big Red and not little deLoris or Fiesty Fausto.

Its business,Suppo owes Gresini no explanation. The Capirossi thing is different,he should not hear of his demise thru the press. They should have had a sit down with Loris and told him strait up before they made an announcment.I agree with Loris, that shows a lack of character.

yup i agree this is just top level business and gresini has been in it long enough to understand this.
its never nice to find out your fate through the press, its like the whole world new before you, thats not at all professional imo.

Everyone in MotoGP knew that Marco was going to get an offer from Ducati if he was 5th or higher in the championship by the midway point, a pre-contract agreement was done back in December, so Capirossi really cannot cry foul whist not delivering for Ducati...

If he feels bad then he should talk Bayliss about what it feels like to get shafted by Suppo despite having won a World title for Ducati (unlike Capirossi)...

Besides Capirossi has offers on the table then he should look at them more seriously and leave Ducati voluntarily.

PS: Drama in GP is a good thing.

yeah gresini and suppo have a fight about it, damn i wouls pay money to see that.

Interesting that Loris only mentions Kawasaki as an alternative (forgetting D'Antin).
Is he just deflecting the Suzuki interest or have they gone cold on him?
Any goss on what is happening at Suzuki?

Loris should go ride Superbikes with Checa and Barros!

Unfortunately for Capirossi Ducati is not spending millions in motogp to see their riders playing around with the bike. Ducati wants results and if Loris is not able to do that, so, goodbye my friend.

All Loris ask for Ducati was made, including a new bike made in a couple of weeks. And what did he? crashed! Loris made a lot for Ducati but Ducati made a lot more for Loris, we are talking about a factory not a backstreet atelier.

Loris thinks that made the bike more than Alan Jenkins...lol, so, stop riding and go to the engineering career if he understands a lot of bikes. Any rider in his place would do the same for Ducati, he is not a special super talented engineer rider of the century.

Desmosedici was made by Alan Jenkins, Capirossi only helped to develop it. One thing that any rider could do, not only him.

Who is slipping is Loris for talking things like that, he should down his head and go walking to home after so much chances wasted.

He cannot suit GP3, he cannot suit GP4, GP5, he suits GP6 but wasted the better chance of his career IMO and now he cannot suit GP7. What bike he is waiting for?

After 5 long season without any significative results, another Desmosedici won't change things. Try another bike, Suzuki or Kawa could suit him better.

Capi is going to take another ride, then stick up Ducati's arse the rest of this season! ....oh wait that's what I would do...Capi will do the right thing I have no doubt.

Never doubt a pissed off Italian.

Yes Loris will do the right thing by Ducati in 2007 or will he???...but Loris will just continue to do what he always did in the past win about 2/3 races at max a year, I don't think that Loris has anything to whinge about as far as Ducati is concerned...they paid him very well for the last 5 years, they gave him every chance in the world, Ducati treated him like a king!!!...Loris it's time to move on my friend....and if he accepts a new ride in 2008 lets really see what Loris is really made of???

There have been lots of ex riders, champs who have changed rides and went on to win world championships and do very very well with other teams...eg Lawson, Rossi...

But they were already champs before they switched rides!

haha just had to throw that in there, you make a valid point

Please be realistic...Each team interested in Capirossi is looking for him to be the number 2 rider not number 1, so he has no chance of sticking it up the probably team/rider/manufacter Champs of Ducati...

His only real hope of being a lead rider are D'Antin, LCR, Roberts, Minolta, and in 2 years time Aprilia...but all are 3rd or 4th tier teams...

The only think deLoris can pray for is that Gresini hires him as number 1 rider and Honda give Fausto a wining package....but How likely is that really?

What you have to like about Loris is that he is very likely to make everyone else look seriously secondhand once or twice a season.

Personally, I thought his career was on the skids after he torpedoed Harada in the 250s to take the title, but he keeps coming back, and on his day is incredible.

And this is a bad thing? You don't seem to understand that not everyone is a potential champion, in fact I'd say there are three potential champions on the grid. Stoner, Rossi and Melandri. I don't think Pedrosa will win a championship, nor Hayden another one, nor Hopper. And among the non-potential champions, I'd say winning two or three races a year would put Loris among the best of them

I tend to agree with you! I'm not sure about Melandri ... no doubt he has the ability but there is something about him that says to me that he is always going to be the nearly man! No doubt I'll live to regret saying that but it;s my opinion!

The only other current rider I would throw in the mix is Chris Vermuelen! Yeah, yeah ... I DON'T want to start another aussie supporting an aussie thing as I don't mean it that way! I just thing he has bucket loads of talent! I remember the first interview I heard from Ronald Ten Kate about him ... he said his ability to provide feedback from his bike was better than a machine!

Barry Sheen thought he was the goods ... that is good enough for me!
