Hang in there Toseland!

there will be no rossi win, he made that mistake again of pushing to hard straight away where as stoner has hung back saved his tyres got some heat in them and now hes flying.

Congrats to lorenzo. No doubt who were the fastest today. His second best lap on the last lap, just playing wiht Perdrosa.
Rossi didn't have the pace today and best BS rider is a meager comfort.

I didn't men today, but soon. Once they nail the setup with the M1 and the Bridgestones it will be game over.

I love the 800s. As soon as you try to pick up a few tenths you bin it. Moto1 is in full effect.

Hayden chucked an easy podium. Who would have guessed this season would start worse. At least he's riding win or bin for the first time in his career

Congrats to Lorenzo. Great ride.

Can motogp please find some warm weather so we can watch some real racing? No more racing in conditions below 70F.

Three weeks until 10 laps of shuffling followed by 15 laps of parade. I love you Ezy.

yeah good pace in the start i hope rossi hasnt made a mistake with the stones, grip dissapered again like it did in qatar im well pissed off!!!!!!!!!

maybe wrong tyre choice.

All credit to lorenzo.

I think rossi's and stoner's best races are to come though, and it could be a 4 way championship battle that goes all the way. I was heartened by stoner's ride; if he had ridden like this in jerez he would only be 6 points behind what he got from the 3 races last year, when there was no lorenzo to contend with.

Unfortunately West is obviously just not up to it, particularly given hopkin's performance.

Rossi had a soft front. That was a gamble I guess.

What was Capirossi doing taking Stoner's grid position at the start? Is he getting old and senile?

Congrats to Lorenzo - fantastic weekend for him. I thought Pedrosa and Rossi would have had the pace to at least keep with him for longer but one man was way ahead of the field this weekend.
Edwards - well done.
Hopkins - good ride.
Hayden - wtf happened?
Dovi - gotta keep it upright mate.
De Puniet - something different for you.
Stoner - good sixth place - kept it together and got valuable points.
West - at least you were laughing before the race cause the joke will soon be on you.
JT - good ride on a new circuit.
Suzuki's and other ducatis - forget about it.

Perhaps better in these first 3 races, maybe not so in future races. It is probably also worth entertaining the possibility that lorenzo and pedrosa are quite good.

rossi is still the best rider what ever hes using he is at the top, it was bad tyre choice today maybe because of the weather it was very patchy and hes is new to the tyres, i think if he was on michelins he would have been leading the championship especially with the bike being as competative as it is this year

Hmm Vales switch to Stones seems to be a bit of a grey area as to whether its a good decision spoze well have to wait till next race and if he sticks it on the top-step maybe it wont be such a bad decision.Oh and well done Jorge and James

Also Valentinos now 14 points back fom the Hobbit and Jorge so he really does need to finish infront of them at China

Congrats to Jorge, he'll need a bigger helmet for the Chinese grand prix. Dani still doesn't have the balls on the brakes but kept himself in the fight long enough. Rossi, good race I guess. At this point of the year Bridgestone just aren't good enough for anyone. Edwards, well, never bet on Edwards for race day, Im sure he'll win Mondays race. Hopkins had a decent enough ride. Stoner kept his head together and scored some decent points. The rest were somewhere. Suzuki and Ducati really suck hard and Westy what do you say about Westy, .... comes to mind.

I am not commenting about his riding, mainly just his tyre choice for the season. I think michelin has had the advantage at all 3 races so far, and was expected to before the season started. It remains to be seen how much improvement if any they have made at the tracks expected to suit bridgestone.

And also how the two compare when we enter the summer heat in general.

yes good point i think he has done well considering the switch, last year the michelin performance was patchy they were either working or not at all but this year they seem strong so far.

He's not at the top. How do you know it was a bad tyre choice. Maybe that was the best choice and thats the maximum anyone could extract from a Brigdestone tyre.

Michelin had no problem at China last year so I expect more of the same from Dani and Lorenzo, both of them winners at Shanghai.
