Wow its getting dramatically worse every race. I am assuming that average lap time would be even further off. Also, looking at those numbers it really looks like its time to dust off the old faithful machinery. Unless Ducati believes that it won't step back before going forward (Honda?). I blame it all on the Rev limiter discussion. We all know how Ducati like to get a jump on things
its interesting to speculate what happened. my interpretation is this: in Jerez Ducati were more or less where they were last year however everybody else improved massively and Ducati was left behind. then for Estorial Ducati realised they needed to improve to catch up and they modified something which unfortunately made the bike much worse.
Its facinating that these guys who win GP's are running slower than the test riders, and slower than Hoffman. He obviously got a tough deal last year.
I doubt that Ducati's problem is the tyres (Babelfish sorry..
). Last season they had love affair with Bridgestone. I think their main problem is that their chassis is getting more chattered. No doubt that their Desmo is the most "beastmaster". Even the World Champion can't handle it

What forum are you reading? I've haven't once suggested they have a tire problem, they have a cassi problem and that has been discussed extencivly elsewhere. Only because I once mention front and rear problem for stoner shouldn't lead you to think it's about tires, after all there can't be two people on this forum as tire fixated as Jumkie?

Well..at least I do hope that Bridgestone is not Ducati's main problem (I mean the tyres). Because if it is, then Rossi's switch will means nothing. As a Rossi's fan, sometimes I wish he didn't make a switch (due Michelin's performance). I hope I'm wrong. Sorry, maybe out of topic..

If tires were Ducati's problem, Rossi wouldn't have been on the podium the two last races and stoner wouldn't have won at quatar. Doesn't take a genious to figure out that, does it?
