Sure, I agree but couldn't resist, as it would seem valentino himself doesn't rate lower class championships with premier class championships, something a few on here have also contended.
I have to say I think dovi as a (very) recent honda factory rider is in a good position to know what ducati and therefore rossi are up against next season, and he did seem to be saying it was ducati rather than valentino who wouldn't come up to scratch. Few would doubt that valentino would still be right in it on a competitive bike, particularly since his motivation would probably be at a career high level.
