Anyways, on that topic. I am a Nicky fan but I am not an ...... I wouldn't necessarily rate either as way better riders but I certainly don't rate them as lesser.

Back on the proper topic, I certainly hope that Dovi hands Dani his walking papers at the end of 2009. And judging by comments made by Jules&co that could be a real possibility.

It will be great to see what Dovi can do on a factory machine. I, like others, think he is going to give Pedrosa a run for his money and contend for the championship.

I do hope the HRC boss' promise that Dovi will receive equal treatment is actually applied. Too much politicking going on in that organization.

i agree in that i think dovi is a great rider and great things may happen in the future but using your logic above hayden is at this time better than dovi.

potential doesn't win races.hopper prover this potential mean's still learning. dovi is good but as it is in this season he is not better than pedro or hayden because he has not won as many races, in fact he hasn;t won any. maybe next year we will have to wait and see.

This is the second time I have corrected you on this.

Pedrosa won 2 in 2006, the same as Hayden.

If you are going to make bold statements re Pedrosa being better than Hayden then at least get your facts straight.

Given the fact that since the 800s came in the bike was designed around Pedrosa and not Hayden (size and riding style) then I'm not convinced that it is that clear cut as to who is the better rider. IMO Hayden is the better racer - never seen Dani mix it with Rossi or Stoner and come out in front of them. Only when he runs away at the front does he win - see Motegi for yet another example of this.

yea the facts suggest that but to beat Hayden and Pedrosa on a Sat bike more than once is showing great potential for next season.

hes also a 125 champion and in 250 always at the front, he is consistent enough.
