I think Puig/Pedrosa will try to give him worse treatment than they did Nicky. The difference though is that he'll have Italy (and the Italian media) backing him up, whereas Nicky was somewhat of an outsider from the beginning and had no way to fire back at the Spanish dominated team and get equal treatment.
Time will tell I guess. I still think Repsol/Puig/Pedro have that team by the balls. They've been arguing against Dovi's entrance all along. My gut says it's gonna be WWIII in that garage.

Dani is on the last year of a 2 year in 2009, and he must deliver the title or lose it by only a few points to keep his HRC Factory ride....Dovi is Honda's future and insurance, much like Dani was in 2006, and Nicky was in 2003/4...
Dovi did wonders with the crap 250 Honda, and is doing incredibly well on the crap rc212v now...so on a full factory ride and real protection from HRC from Puig...Dovi will win races next year.....

I think it will be very difficult for Dani/Pig to make life hell for Dovi because as Phorest said, he is backed up by an equally strong base.
Nicky had no chance against this.
I also think HRC may have learned a thing or two from this debacle. I think it hurt the company more than it helped by favoring one over their better rider who actually accomplished something. I doubt they will be in a hurry to commit the same mistake with Dovi.
Migs, Nicky is a better rider than both of these, but HRC failed to supply him with the proper package. Despite all evidence of this, you continue to stick your head in the sand. (typical)
