WOW thats pretty cool are they going to be using the banked part of the track(i cant remember what its called right now) that will be mad to watch

Oh hell no. How is it possibly safe to race at high speeds around a corner with a concrete wall right next to it? Did we learn nothing from Senna's crash?

Don't waste your time with safety concerns, they will not add a new calender to the track if it is going to be unsafe.

May I be the first to say I'm not convinced? If it brings in over a hundred thousand people, added revenue and a new market for MotoGP, of course they will.

According to this Laguna is out, or is it just conjecture?[

If the worst comes to the worst, and they ignore safety concerns, then most likely the riders will boycott the race. So I wouldn't worry about that.

we would like to think that but when you think only 2 riders turned up to the safety council meeting i would say dorna could go where they like without to much opposition.

So first they mutilated the Corkscrew to make it safer for the MotoGP bikes, then they ditch Laguna Seca anyway?!

Moto GP riders wont race at that circuit in its present form , with walls half way around it no way.
Maybe they will make a circuit of sorts in the infield, cant see them riding between the walls.

i was thinking that, maybe not everyone in spain is within walking distance of a gp

more likely that some other crappy eastern track with lots of money is having one, or this website is lying to us.

Definitely an assumption by some ...... Laguna's contract goes until 2010, but the exclusivity for it to be the only US GP is up at the end of this year.
