Two race weekends in a row we've seen riders being disqualified after crashing out on a wet track in a dry race. Latest victim was Xaus that was DQed as they blamed the redflaged on his crash, allthough he was the only one out in that turn, and was really far away from the track and unhurt. Normally not a red flag situation.
Edit: I'm not a Xaus fan, but felt sorry for him yesterday.
I understand the intention behind the rule but don't inderstand these rulings. I would rather se race direction being fined for not redflaging the race soon enough rather than punishing the riders that are out there with the wrong equipment for the conditions. Now it looks as if they banned redfalgging becuase of slippery conditions in a declared dry race and only redflaging because of riders crashes, DQing them at teh same time.
