Sky plus will be set to record the 200 ! Thanks for the heads up skaface

Well the race will also be live for at least one UK citizen i know. Wilski has left the building...and on his way to Daytona.

Go Benny!

I dont think its live here. From what i can tell, its on a 90 minute delay.

Wilski brings the essentials on his transatlantic adventure.

Who would have ever expected that.

Tommy was nails on a 600 and I'm looking foward to seeing him back on one.

It would be quite a feat to be competetive on a bike he has zero time on.

This 200 is going to be nuts

Roger Hayden sipping jet streams at 206mph on the banking. Insanity.

And that banking is at 38 degrees! Wilski Is loving the banking.

Benny has been struggling. First day there was a snafu and it basically eliminated practice number one. Today was a bit better.

Was out drinking and partying till 4:00am with Wilski, only to get up at 6:30 to drive to the track. Good times.

not sure how AMA Quali pans out there seems to be a combined quali involved ?

anyway this session just finished. Junkies mukka 9th ? from live timing

Makes you wonder what kind of speeds they were running when they ran Superbikes, and lap times were 2.5 seconds faster.

Actually, the bikes get those kinds of top speeds in the draft. The awful close racing that you hate so much is the reason today's SBK riders reach speeds higher than WSBKs at Monza.

On race tires, the old SBKs were 1 second faster at Daytona than the current machines. Not even noticeable. SBK racing is production racing. I prefer hot bikes, but if the manufacturers refuse to sell them, they force people to change the rules.

My point is that pack drafting is faster than motorcycles running by themselves. I'm not endorsing NASBIKE, but technically it is faster than the "high performance" spread out affairs that you speak so highly of.
