Dani Pedrosa with a broken finger and fractured ankle?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vale4607 @ Jul 16 2008, 05:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>"We have decided that I will do my best to ride this weekend," said Pedrosa. Tough little roach.

"The fans at Laguna are great, very respectful of all the riders"

Does he know you're coming jumkie?

Hahaha. Well if the weee man is tough enough to race with a broken finger (probably the one he uses to finger you know who), well then I'll accept his entry with not much ranker.

But I'm still wearing my Dani Sucks T-shirt.

As always, that Evil ...... Puig is hovering with malign intent, whispering in his ear, urging him on. <span style="color:#9932CC"The pain will make you more powerful, young one!"

Dani's gone home.
Quote from LINKY

He basically says "Maybe I could have done it with Dr. Costa's treatments, but apart from the pain I'm not ok with they tyres either. Especially for the second half of the race"

OUCH. That's gotta hurt for Michelin.

considering that the michie riders ran FP3 with cut slick rears! I say that is deserved.

Fck, I agree with Peddie

Dani's out.

Oh dear!

He's lucky he won't be around for race day when 50,000 people show up with the <strike>26</strike> t-shirts.

Pedro is out too bad, but is an unecessary risk to try and race since his times in the practice yesterday, he need to recover in this break until brno

he might get lucky and rossi finish off the pole. in the end, this might be a wise decision. only time will tell.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (an4rew @ Jul 19 2008, 11:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Considering the summer break was coming up... i know alot of riders would have raced.

Yep, I reckon Rossi would have raced, even for a couple of points, But that is a tough track. I think there's too much preasure on riders these days to get back on to quick, anyone who's had a broken bonewill know how painfull it can be, no mater how advanced medical science has come it can't speed up the healing process of the human body.
It takes six weeks to heal a broken bone, it can't be done quicker, unless any of you out there know different.

Dani tried, but was in too much pain, and didn't look like he would get many points.

Didn't Rossi retire from a race a couple of years ago when he was in too much pain (and down the order), after a crash. Probably his disastrous 2006 season.

To fly to the USA and give it a try is admirable. To pull out is a shame. Stay on your bike in future please. How petty is this place when people are speulating about Pedrosa and Rossi's respective pain thresholds..
