Hey I'd be interested to know what everones coverage and who ya commentators for ya GP coverage is in your part of the world.

As you know I'm from NZ

We get the MotoGP delayed a bit, plus they alwasy mix it up showing the MotoGP 1st the the 250's then the 125's stupid bloody commentators always say whats happened in the previous race and ruin it. but I guess its better than nothing.

Our commentators here are Nick Harris, and ?????, I like them thay are generally pretty good, although I wish Harris would stop commenting on what the bloody pit boards are saying drives ya up the wall.

So everyone please chim in I'd liketo know

I was told we get Matthew Young and Nick Roberts and I think they are hysterical if they are the ones thet commentate World Superbike. If its not them, then nevermind. lol

we've got eurosport, ned2 and rtl7. Eurosport/ned2 broadcast the 125cc, 250cc and the motogp live, also when they're in australia, japan etc. so we've got plenty of choice which cannel we gonna see!
on eurosport the commentators are Frank Weeink and Job van Ostrum. I always mix the 2 guys up, 1 of them is realy good (thought it was frank) the other is terrible, he only tells what you already have seen 3 minutes before
<
sometimes they also have guest speakers, like the brother of Jurgen vd Goorbergh, Patrick.
Love the commentators at the bbc, don't know who they are, but they talk so passionatly about the races
<

On rtl7, they combine the motogp races and the wsb,bsb etc. don't know the commentators, should ask my dad for that...
<

in british eurosport weve got moody and ryder and in the pit lane randy mamola and they really r mad but good and they know there stuff, i tape every race on the bbc thow cus they never cut for breaks which is the only thing that drives me MAD about eurosport, like last week in qatar the 125 race never cut for a break.
wots that all about.. and this week in wsb there was 2 breaks but small ones in gp they break for about 2minutes
<

steve parrish ex gp rider and charlie sumthink does the bbc and when sete makes a mistake easy to say that recently this charlie geezer says THATS SHOT THE FOX
hahaha i think he used to drive 4 wheels competatively..ooops spelling..

So down here in Aus, on pay TV it is usually pretty close to live (i think) don't have it!!!

So on normal TV its pretty .... cause its always on at midnight or some other stupid bloody hour!!!!! I always end up taping it and watching the next day, the worst part about this is i have to try and stay away from the forum so i don't find out what whent on
<

They show the GP first then the 250's and 125's, Bill Woods and Daryl Beatie are our commentators, there pretty good and often funny
<

The boys who do the wsb are the english commentators, i think one is called Keith hewitt, maybe wrong but!! They crack me up, if we are thinking of the same guys, there the ones that say ' Ohh and its Nitro Nori" and stuff like that, yeah???

Yeah i dont have sky but have watched before on sky. May take is:

Eurosport: Julian and Toby. Very informative, they seem to know a lot more about whats going on during the corse of the weekend, especially Julian, hes very good. Toby? dont like him as much as he goes a bit wacky sometimes i think but still very clued up and is good on stats and stuff like that. Overall with Randy in pitlane the Eurosprt commentary is more informative than humouros.

BBC: At first the BBC MotoGP programme doesnt seem as good as the Eurosport one, and i expect eurosport do have more money to use than the BBC give their bikesport team! But all in all they do do a good job, Suzi perry on the grid, Steve parrish who knows his stuff too considering he was Barry Sheens teamate@ suzuki, and Charlie Cox ex british touring car champ with his very funny, dry sense of humour- his phrases more than make up for their lack in facts and stats. Some examples are: "its wetter than an otters pocket out there" or "he needed that like a third armpit" or my personal fav when they did laguna and commenting on nicky hayden during the race "thats as much fun as you can have with your clothes on"
I love it when Steve says something about how fast the bikes are, and then Charlie will say something like "yeah we tried doing that in the rent-a-car but it just doesnt work". The BBC team are pretty cool.

We get the MotoGP feed over here and as General said I believe the commentators are Matt Young and Nick Roberts. I rather enjoy their antics. For WSB I believe we get a feed direct from WSB but I'm not sure. The play by play guy is awesome, I wish I could remember his name because he is brilliant. The color commentator usually changes and is generally a rider with the weekend off like James Haydon.

In Spain we've got national TV1 coverage, all 3 races live. They changed the comentators this year, they suck. So I tend to watch the races on Eurosport on the satellite, with Ryder and Moody. They're pretty good.

<div align="right<{POST_SNAPBACK}>thats nick harris i do believe.

Toby & Julian are my favs.

But think Charli & Steve do a decent job also.
