I hate to be smug (well not really!), but those early season performances were never lucky, the bike, the tyres.....or any other excuse for Valentino being beaten. This kid is awesome, and I recall last year despite regularly throwing it down the road he was also regularly on a charge toward the front.
This weekend has now silenced every doubter........"Wait till we get to Laguna......wait till we get to a track without long straights......wait till we find another lame excuse!"
Casey this weekend was all dominant, completely in a class of his own with only CV showing signs of being capable of keeping him in sight. Does anybody out there now believe that Casey will not be World Champion soon? I don't think so!
Roll on 2008, because this one is done and dusted!
Casey has done a great job so far. I can remember watching him last season, and thinking ''damn he's talented, but he makes too many errors''. Well, that isn't the case anymore. He has improved A LOT, no more silly mistakes. He's still young, I'm pretty sure he will win more titles in his career, I definitely think he will win this season, and that would be deserved!! The Stoner-Ducati combi is just too good, simple as that, just like the Rossi-Honda combi was great too.

All this rampant Aussie nationalism has done more to make me a Vale supporter than any of his victories.
