I'm guessing this has been discussed before but anyway -
When a rider comes into before/after/during testing he usually sits down with his race engineer, sometimes accompanied by a technician. Its the same situation across both factory and satellite teams.
But when Marquez comes into the pits, he's usually surrounded by a horde of Honda's people (and the Michelin rep) listening and taking notes, while the cameramen are force to stand on tiptoes to get a half decent shot.
I'd suspect that Honda had a unique communitarian mgmt philosophy if not for the fact that when Pedrosa pits he's usually only attended to by Ramon Aurin and maybe one or two technicians.
So... what gives? Why does Marquez's audience consist of a bus-full of people while everyone gets by with a scooter's worth?
