Very good job by Cal at Qatar quali. As one who was dubious about another "token POM" I am perhaps now one of the most impressed with him.

Perhaps some of you poms can fill us "unbelievers" in ........ can he keep up the good performance, from knowing his history?

Oh and another huge plus with Cal?, did I see that he has brought a member of the fairer ... into the pits

?

BTW keep an eye on young Scott Redding in moto2 he is raw tallent & at only 18 I can see him been a real brit prospect in the future.

However was very suprised by Bradley Smith yesterday, I always thought he,d be up at the pointy end but just not that soon.

He was a real eye opener for me yesterday

the big thing i saw in cal in wsbk and wss was the fact that he held corner speed a lot better than the rest which when most of the wsbk lads have moved over to go they nearly always struggle wiith the corner speed of the gp bikes. thats why i think he was brought over

hes always been very quick in qaulifying ie great with no one in front of him but he does need a biut more race craft and in gp with a smaller grid its not really the place to be learning

lin jarvis wanted him to do another year in world super bikes before moving across to gp .

but its great to see him doing well and to see him come thru the finger incident

I'm sure he will, but I was kinda fishing for a bit of info on him, ie. I want to know WHAT he will give 100% of.

You have to remember outside Britland he is virtually unknown.
