Well well well! Ellison has gone from a win at the last round to a broken femur and some new metalwork. He's got his eye on sneaking into the final shootout by the end of the year. Could the new rules wind up having a significant impact? Tommy Hill is stretching his points lead, so it seems Suzuki are having a good year with their production bikes. Interesting stuff

They look very strong - agreed. As brave as he is, and as much as we all love him, I've never regarded Kagy as a title threat. I hope both he and his team mate can avoid injury, Under the stewardship of Jack Valentine and John Reynolds, Crescent are looking very strong again.

Some wonderful riding by Easton again. I've said it before, but he looks so much like Hizzy on a bike. I think Pete said that he was mentored by him.

Dare i ask if my fav BSB rider stayed on and the bike is intact. michael howarth? i dare not ask him. i don't have eurosport

yeah at silly oclock make that 3am wednesday morning but id re check the listing if i was you. as the paper tv guide says different don't think it was BSB as it's from oulton. but i would love to be corrected. some one tell me i am wrong!

Great racing at Thruxton. I forgot how fast and crazy this track is, it is go go go the whole time, good stuff. Bad news with Ellison, this could have been his year, he was looking really strong at Brands, but as pointed out, he could still do well with the new rules. Suzuki are looking great, Hill has some incredible speed, and a nice points lead. Josh "the missle" Brookes had a great weekend, picking up his first win. Easton doing the business to stay close in the points. Some great action in the pre podium crowd as well. It was fun to watch Rutter, Jessop, Kaga, Kiyo, etc battling it out. As always some great coverage of the races by Eurosport.

Thruxton is probably my favorite track on the calendar, and I'm glad I finally got around to checking things out b/c the racing was great. Brookes broke his duck and Hill extended his championship lead. Kagayama also proved he has something left in the tank.

Nice to see David Anthony get the double in the Evo class.

On the flip side, Kiyo has been lackluster since his 2nd place in the first race of the season. Not sure what's going on. He's a two time BSB champ and he's familiar with the bike. Is he over the hill at just 27 years of age?

I'm not familiar with Kiyo's history during his BSB days prior to his high/low WSBK careeer, but Whitam made mention that he is one of those guys that has to have everything just perfect and he is blindingly fast. We know it's not the Honda, Brookes showed that, and Kiyo certainly knows the bike well. HM Plant is a fine outfit, so can't blame the team. Nah I'd say it's all in his head. I'm willing to guess that after a few good weekends he starts putting things together.

I'm looking forward to Oulton, that track looks like it would be a blast to ride. Suzuki (under Guinters) went real well at Oulton last year. Watch Hill push that lead up some more.
