I haven't seen even the most extreme Australian fans wish accident or injury on any rider.

I think Hayden will finish on the podium and said this before practice. Stoner still seemed significantly faster on race tyres. The top speeds of the Ducatis and Hondas now seem to be identical so doubtless he must be taking unfair advantage in some other way.

I am a great Hayden admirer and most of his fans seem pretty reasonable too but I can see now why people annoyed with Stoner fans this year liken them to some Hayden fans last year.

Apparently Kawasakis have never gone well at Brno, and if you look DePuniet was pretty low down the order today before the Q tyres went in, so who knows whats going on.

Stoner looks so strong again, anyone left thinking he isn't the best is just wrong. Great to see Hayden back at the sharp end, i'm hoping for a podium from him tomorrow. Hopper looks good but had another classic Hopkins crash, he still doesn't quite convince me.

Guintoli was excellent again today, he is riding incredibly well and definitely deserves a ride next year. Not trying to start any fights but based on this season and his 250 form i rate him better than West, so i think he has a home in motogp.

My football team just lost; I was feeling maudlin.

You wanted Hopkins to run over Stoner but without injuring him? Fair enough then.

I admire Hopkins as a rider too but I don't think he is as good as Hayden. By the way I have seen an extensive video analysis of the Laguna Seca first turn incident on another site where even the American fans agreed that it was your boy Hopper's fault if it was anyone's.

He's on the 2nd row and seems to be running 2nd fastest on race
tires so I really don't want to hear him say again that he had
the bike for the podium but because of this or that he almost

After reading Kawasaki's press release it appers that Ant is still struggling to get the optimum lap time out of his qualifying tyre.. Before the qualis went in his pace was equivelant to Randy's.. Lets hope he can carve through field a bit and get up with his teammate..

.....but.....it looks as if your boy and Honda are hitting some form, the only significant outcome being to split Casey and Valentino and sealing the championship sooner rather than later. It would be good to see him up there fighting for a podium, so he gets more tv coverage and I get to see some glimpses of that outrageous dirt track style of his.

I find this fascinating too. It seems to suggest two things.

1. Hayden doesn't win races b/c he fries his tires. Even when he changed his style he still smoked his tires up towards the end of the race. Maybe 800's are actually better for Nicky than people thought b/c now he doesn't have to conserve rubber like he used to thanks to improved TC and reduced power.

2. Gulp. Perhaps Tom is actually right, mayben Honda didn't build the bike for Pedrosa. Don't think for a minute this exonerates Honda, they are still underhanded Benedict Arnold's who stabbed Nicky in the back, but it doesn't look like they played favorites. Instead of the bike being built for Pedrosa, I think they bought Pedrosa for the bike. The Honda engineers probably have this ridiculously unrealistic picture of the perfect motorcycle that is compact with perfect mass centralization. When they saw Pedrosa they were licking their chops and because of their impactience they threw all human decency out the window to build the RC212V this year. Unfortunately, Honda still don't want to recognize that the person tucked behind the bubble is still more important than the machine underneath him.
