Brainerd Back on AMA Schedule?

I've got an email from a friend back home that has told me the rumor running wild among Minnesotan/Canadian sport bike enthusiasts is that Brainerd International Raceay will be back on the AMA Superbike schedule for 2007 or 2008. Has anyone heard anything about this?
 
yeah i heard about this a couple of months back actually. the circuit was sold & the new owners were keen on getting back the bikes. it was'nt a done deal yet but maybe it has become so!

Officially I had heard the same thing as you Frost but nothing confirmed regarding AMA for 2007.
