Bradl to Ducati?

I was rewatching the 2012 Laguna race when Gavin Emmet and Nick Harris made a comment about Bradl going to Sucati for 2014. They said its why Nicky got a 1 year offer. It would also explain why Cal just said he has no job. I'm guessing Audi would love having a German and Italian in the factory.

Agree, but according to LCR, most of Bradls front end issues were solved recently, when he stopped being stubborn and started listening to his crew chief.

I don't rate Bradl that high, but he's better than Alvaro. Ducati doesn't really have the front end issues it did.

All the recent complaints have been more about corner entry and mid corner stability. These are geometry and weight disto problems. The front end was 1/2 the carbon and 1/2 the old L geometry. Some of it actually has been improved. But the everyone is going faster this year, obfuscating all the gains.


If Ducati can get more a more balance placement and dual injectors, they will be ok.

The reason it's been so slow (other than German meticulousness) is that the engine restructure wasn't possible this year. The chassis geometry had to take all the changes until a revised crank placement and new engine is complete
