It appears that Pat Clark Motorsports will race Kawasakis in 2011 with riders Ben Bostrom (36), Eric Bostrom (34) and Chris Clark on ZX-10R machinery in a deal still being formulated. Clark raced with Bostrom on Yamahas in DMG Superbike in 2010.

Presumably, this would mark the full time return of Eric Bostrom to DMG Superbike racing.

Kawasaki sources, at their recent dealer convention in Las Vegas, were very non-committal about any potential involvement in DMG Superbike, official or unofficial. Instead they stressed that the new ZX-10R would be in-country soon and anyone wanting to race one could purchase one.

Hope it happens, but RRW reported a while back that Kawasaki had no plans to enter the AMA b/c the company wanted to move to contingency money for AMA competition. I've always thought that the marriage between Eric and Attack was too perfect for Kawasaki to resist, but imo, the story keeps getting bigger and more elaborate each time it makes the rounds.

Eric already announced he would be racing full time with Attack and Sho-Air would be functioning as the team sponsor. I'd be surprised to learn that everyone has agreed to scrap that plan and move everything under the banner of Pat Clark Motorsports. The marriage works b/c Pat Clark doesn't tune motorcycles and Attack does, but I've got to wonder why Attack would play second fiddle if they are doing a majority of the work. Furthermore, how would Sho-Air get out of their contract so they could run Eric on a PCM branded bike not an Attack.

It's all definitely possible b/c the AMA is sort of the Wild West for contracts, but it gets more unbelievable each time the rumor surfaces.

Reliable and knowledgeable sources say that Pat Clark Motorsports is in the process of moving out of the former Erion Racing shop in Anaheim and are moving in with Attack Racing in Huntington Beach.

While Ben Bostrom proclaims that he hasn't signed a deal with anyone, sources say that Attack/Pat Clark are currently building as many as four Kawasaki Superbikes to be raced in the 2011 DMG Superbike series.

Attack Racing hasn't yet returned calls for comment.

This should make JohnnyK very happy.
