Biaggi to ride Spies Ducati at Mugello Test?

I'd kill to see rossi vs biaggi part2.

just to pprevent the repetitive bs from our forums chief prankster : no jk ,jews don't count.
 
Have to wonder how serious all this is with 3 crucial factors coming together here

1. Biaggi wants to race and is available

2. Duc need an experienced rider for feedback

3. As mentioned duc would rather have pirro testing than racing and it's far fetched to expect spies to do jack .... this season.


Maybe it's just because I want it to happen so bad , but I wouldn't be surprised if max chose to return to gps Instead of sbk for a few rides
 
Biaggi to best Nicky and Dovi lap times.  A return by the Roaming Emperor is eminent.

MotoGP did a number on Spies.  It killed his "Racing Spirit", he is but a lost soul on a bike right now.


 


He's done for.  I never believed he had that passion inside of him.  I think his mother screwed up his mind.

I think Spies sees the circus/politics/chosen and not so chosen ones. The role that he and others play in the entertain fish bowl of Dorna.


Trust me a health Spies with something to prove can make it happen.


 


But now.. why risk your life, mental health and limbs to ride around a crap bike. I think he is doing enough to 1. Make his $$ and plan for life should he leave GPs. 2. Hang around until Suzuki comes back with hopefully competitive machinery. 3. Bide his time until the right factory WSBK ride presents itself.


 


I hope that you are not saying that he has lost his speed.

LOL....Surely Nicky 'Hodor' Hayden would be able to best the old man.....


 


I think maybe Ducati decided they needed an experienced rider to give them feedback on how to progress with their development especially as the ARTs are catching up to them.............after all Max did a fab job on the M1 back in the day!

Well, they hired one for 2 years, but he wasnt able to tell them anything useful.  Oddly enough, now that this "experienced" rider has left, the Ducati is looking at least like a 3rd+ tier bike.

Cant say you are wrong but maybe that is why they need Biaggi to make sure it stays ahead of the ARTs..... :)
 
It would have been funny if they brought on Mad Max when The Doctor was at Ducati.  That really would've ...... with VR's head (reversal of roles from their prior MotoGP battles).
