Who wants to see him do well? + who wants to see him fall on his bum?
<

I want to see the old Biaggi back, the agressive, smooth, 4 time world champion. i'd love to see him at the sharp end. It'd be a further shame for the end of his career if he continues to move down in the world.

I'd like to see Max at the front in WSB.

He may be an egotistical perfectionist but he's a world class rider who's big mouth and non-stop hissy-fits have got his ... sacked.

bit of a shame IMO

biaggi is fast and he is known for riding @ 100%. he should do good. better than bayliss? i dunno, well see. if i had to make a wager i'd go with bayliss taking all those guys. u never know the wsb grid is looking even more competetive this year w/ max.

Bayliss apparently went almost as fast as a moto gp bike in testing which is bad seeing as moto gp is known for power

i used to be a biaggi fan untill he turned into an arsehole.
i would love to see the old biaggi back and kick wsb .... earn back some of the respect he lost.

While it would be good to see him competitive, Being good on a GP bike dosen't make you automatically talented on a Superbike. while still a bit behind GP, SBK gets more and more competitive by the year, and that aside, a Superbike is a lot havier than a 990 or 500, and is massive compared to a 250, where Biaggi enjoyed most of his success. Barros was more suited to SBK in my opinion, so I won't expect Max to do much better, even though he's a slightly better rider on a slightly better package.

Not anymore. Cut 200cc off the displacement limit and watch the power drop.

Hell Yeah! Brookesy's back on a CBR this year. Time to kick ...! The successor to the Baylisstic throne! .... I wish

I think he will do fine. I hope Max does well enough to be invited back to GP.

I'm not really fussed about having him back in GP's, but would like to see him go out with a positive end to his career (like a WSB title).

I don't doubt he can do it, its just if he will do it or not. And how long will he last if it doesn't go his way from the start, you know what he can be like.

Can you think of many GP teams that would have him back? I think maybe Ducati if they get desperate, or Ilmor if they get competative.

It's the John Koscinski/Freddie Spencer thing again, it's sad when a great rider is only remembered for his behaviour, rather than his ability to ride a bike. When Max came to GP, he really took the fight to Doohan, but he let Vale get under his skin, and do his head in.

The thing was, he played the games himself, saying how he was going to be the greatest Italian rider of his generation, dismissing Cadalora and Capirossi. So it was ironic that it was Valentino's mind games that were the begining of his downfall.

Live by the sword, Die by the sword......

I do think the guy is a nut, but he deserves to be remembered as a great racer.

I grudging hope he does well this season!

Its a shame, when max was strong, he was really strong. Doohan had most guys beet when they got to the track on Thursday, but nt Biaggi. Really he made hs own downfall, he was so desperate to be the favorite in the media and public eye, but Rossi got the better of him in every way.

But now they are in different paddocks, max has room to be the star again. Just look at the crowds that showed up to watch him test. Things like that will do his mind some good, and i think he will do great things again.

Just wait untill the superbikes hit Brno...........................

I think theres only going to be one Troy up front, Bayliss.

If anything, Biaggi will end up between the Troys, behind Bayliss, in front of Corser.

Yeah, I think Corser is a bit past his prime. Still a race-winning rider on a race-winning bike, though.

I think one of the most intresting things next year will be the internal Yamaha battle. Who will perform better out of Haga and Corser? I think Corser might actually get better results, but who really knows?

My money's on Haga. Dunno why, just got one of them gut feelings. They both got stuff going for them, Corser's a double world champ, but Haga has bike experience and he's nuts.
