Colin Edwards has yet to win a MotoGP and has hardly ever been on the podium and yet he's been a fixture for how many years?

No reason to be ashamed Pov, I'm just not terribly nationalist in general but particularly with regard to sports. I'm learning to like Ben more and more. He's growing on me and by all measure, he's no ........! Seems like a pretty nice guy.
Last week during an interview on the MotoGP site Stoner was asked "If you lost the keys to your motorhome and had to stay with another rider, who would it be." Stoner immediately replied "Ben." He was quite complimentary. I thought that was interesting.

I think Spies has a shot at being World Champ. He is slow and methodical in his approach and is still learning how to ride the bike after being a superbike rider for so long. He is in his second year as a GP rider and has exceeded my expectations.
I think he'll do consistently well, but don't know if he's got what it takes to be world champion, at least not in the next few years - there are a lot of current riders who I'd bet on before him.
He's definitely up there though, and seems a good guy to have around the paddock.
