Hi,

We have been pleased with a great season, full of great races and great performances. Two riders deserve the highlight topping all others, so lets start with those. :)

Danny Kent 52 (brilliant season but strange contrast):
- first time i saw a moto3 rider pulling away on a normal dry race!
- he got 84% of total possible points on the 1st half of the season!
- on the 2nd half he was only 7th and got 31% of total possible points!
- bit lucky not to injure himself in PI, uffffff (Redding lost there a championship similar way i think). :)
Great season without a doubt, but what happened this last 9 races?
Was he just managing the gap? Should not be the bike, as other hondas were there on the front all races.

Miguel Oliveira 44 (nervous start with a blast end):
- bad start with a couple of rider mistakes.
- bad luck with injury at germany.
- 3rd 1st half season with 45% of the best point scoring.
- 1st on the 2nd half with 68% of best point score.
- brilliant end with 140 out of 150 possible points on the last 6 races!
Biggest question/doubt is what could he have done with the "Misano bike" from the beginning of the season?

Main stats, we all know them ... so here attached is a small funny exercice. :)

Personally, i am impressed by Navarro, Antonelli and Bastianini. I believe they are big contesters for next year together with Quartararo and Binder.
I have a big doubt about Fenati, to me looks like he doesn't get any better! :(
Since he joined he can win races, he is almost every race at the front but seems to lake the last bit to challenge for the title!

Hopes for another great season next year with new hero's!
cheers everybody, hope you like this post :)

I posted it on the right place, haven't i?

Anyway, does anybody has any bets on next year "big" names for the championship? (Would be fun to see how right/wrong we could be on the end). My "money" would be on Binder, Navarro, Bastianini and Antonelli.

And about this year, who's performance have impressed you? For me:
- Kent was a God 1st half season;
- Favorite overtake was #44 at Mugello taking 4 riders in 1 move at the last corner.
- Gasps of brilliance by Quartararo, Navarro and Antonelli.
- Bastianini very regular for a 17 year old.

(Since i am Portuguese, i would prefer Miguel to win ... but in this case would be too bad for Danny. So i think was the correct end to the championship! :))

Excellent post, Seu.
I would have been bitterly disappointed for Kent had he lost, but Miguel did such an excellent job in the second half of the season that I'd be happy for him had he grasped it.
Great season. A nailbiter of a final race. And damn lucky Kent wasn't in that following pack pile up.

Unlike MotoGP where Rossi gave up any right he had earned to the crown after Sepang, this truly was a championship that both deserved. Well done.

I only wrote this to moto3 because was the most interesting championshio without any "dirt" :)
- moto2, no history ... ZARCO KING and great (bit hotheaded) first year to RINS. Lowes also worthwhile to mention since he was the only speedup race winner.
- motoGP, plenty of "garbage" painted in "RED, YELLOW and BLUE" on the forum already. A proper champ post would only be another dam thread of blind opinions. You all understand. LOL
