Hi there ~

My name's Gareth - I'm in London, and am a huge Alvaro Bautista fan.
Love watching the top class too, but Alvaro's the man.
I run the batifans.com forum for Alvaro's English-speaking fans, and some F1 websites on Ant Davidson and Kimi Raikkonen. Oh, and F1 diecasts too, because I'm a nerd.
<

Have been watching MotoGP for only probably about 3 years, whilst gradually faling out of love with F1 - this year's F1 nonsense has pretty much completed the process.
MotoGP has been a huge great refreshing change; amazing action, actual - you know - racing and passing, no daft politics and all that rubbish.
Have been thoroughly enjoying watching all classes.
And look forward to watching and learning loads more.

Cheers for the great site

Welcome Gareth, you must be a busy bee running all those sites, who do you think will clinch the F1 drivers title?

Thanks all of you

@ Pirkkalan GP - You must be pretty pleased after Mika's win on Sunday - was an excellent ride, I was very chuffed for him
<

@ Dazza - Yes, it's a pretty hectic life covering all those sites...
re: F1 title - Although I desperately want it to be Kimi I have a sneaking suspicion that it's most likely to be a McLaren driver (they appear to have a car definitely better suited to the remaining Shanghai and Sao Paulo tracks, Fuji not so sure... and their reliability has definitely been serving them better than Ferrari); more probably Alonso than Hamilton, but pretty difficult to call.

Welcome to the forum Gareth..you're not Greath Gates, right??
<

I can understand you dont like nowadays F1. I'm a huge F1 myself, but it's not hard to see that it's not what it used to be, really a shame!!
<

I'm a Raikkonen fan, and like you, I would love to see him win this year, but it's not gonna happen. It will be one of the Mclaren drivers, like you already said.

Anyway, enjoy your stay

Just one correction, there's plenty of politics in MotoGP, its just harder to spot sometimes.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy yourself!

actually yes there ARE politics i guess - i'm just not sick of them yet
<

also the sport doesn't involve max mosely, which HAS to be a bonus...
