When you run off the factories and cut performance back 10 years, people lose interest. Im not sure what these ....... clowns and their apologist dont get about that. Running AMA Superbike like BSB is not going to work either. Bring back the factories and the the Superbikes, and they will come.

Definitely. I prefer the idea of some mechanical parity, but factories made the sport in the US and it is nothing without them. There was no conspiracy about this. It was just NASCAR hubris and ignorance. Roger Edmondson came in saying there was no way they could fail with Jim France behind the deal. They found out that their management style doesn't work for racers who aren't riding the NASCAR gravy train.
