To those who have listened to the Superbike commentary do I need to explain....?

I am basing all my information on this...I don't know if he is an ex World Champion of something or other and if he is the good on him but he should stay the hell away from motorcycle commentary!!

He drives me crazy with his inane whatever-you-call-it-is-he-is-doing. He constantly interrupts Steve Martin who has always got something useful to say..

He's a nob!!!

Not heard of this guy. What channel does he commentate for?

Cant beat James Whitham & Jack Burnicle on Eurosport imo.

They are all great compared to what we are used to here in the states. So i would vote no

He deliveres great and enthousiastic commentary imo.

@other guys.

He does the commentary on the officiall Worldsbk.com videos etc.

You've lost your mind.. we've had bad commentary in the states.. and that isn't it.. I wanna say I remember watching Laguna 08 with US commentary and the mood was so monotone it was incredible.. if Mr Green and Martin were calling that race, that would've gained a couple more spectators to the sport.

Never heard of him, does he walk backwards with a green handled penknife, spits a lot, cleanshaven man with a beard?

I like him. He is very entertaining and is a very good 'fact guy'. His analysis of some facts and prior knowledge may be sketchy, but that's what the color commentator is there for--to take what the play caller and fact man says and go in depth. Him and steve martin do a great job, even if they are at each others throats some times.

That's the only downside to Miller WSBK, we get the speedtv crew instead of the usual green and martin here in the states.

He's a complete nob. I couldn't stand him at first but he grew on me. He makes me laugh and roll my eyes at the same time. He's like an over the top game show host. You may find them idiots but their idiocy is what sustains the entertainment. I can't stand how he constantly interrupts Martin (who has great insight and terrible delivery) and wish he would show more respect and restraint towards him.

The multiple volcano and eruption comments last week were pathetic and it was hilarious when Martin called him out on it.

So yes he's an ..... but he's our ......

Yes he's a fatuous nob. His voice is like fingernails on a blackboard. He constantly makes assholic double-entendres

and moronic segues and has to be corrected every two seconds by his partner, who must be the soul of patience.

All his jump-up-and-down screeching hyperbole doesn't make up for his constant inaccuracy in reporting and his

inane jokes. He's the Benny Hill of race commentary.

thats a good thing!

As far as moto commentators I prefer Burnicle and Whitam first. Moody and Ryder 2nd. Green and Martin 3rd. And I don't even count Shaheen, Greg White, and the rest of the Speed crew as commentators (except Pridmore who is fairly good).

I don't mind Green, he seems like a real fan of the sport, he follows the action when commentating. Although he can get excited at times, I can relate to getting fired up when something happens on track. It can be pretty entertaining with some of his smart ... comments.
