Hi All,
Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I promise to be on my best behaviour at least until you get to know a me a little and realise that I don't actually have a best behaviour
I'm from just outside London, been following MotoGP on and off for a long time ... I remember as far back Fast Freddie (still my personal favourite) and Eddie Lawson. I guess that gives a clue to my age. Accordingly, I reserve the right to be cantankerous, opinionated and generally grumpy ;-)
Oh, and these modern bikes aren't patch on the old 500's. Vicious wee beasties they were, none of your new-fangled girly traction control nonsense.
I mostly support Honda, partly because their road bikes were always just better made and better finished than anybody else's but also because most of my favourite riders have ridden for Honda one time or another.
At the moment I'm loving Marc Marquez, have respect but not much love for Jorge and am enjoying Vale recast in a new role as the pantomime villain ...
Hiss! Boo! He's beeehiiiind yoooouuuuu!!!!!
Had a lot of motorbikes in my younger days and spent quite a lot of time doing track days and race schools. These days I prefer 4 wheels to 2 as my pipe and slippers work better that way.
Looking forward to some vigorous debate.
Thanks for having me,
Cruel Toby
