Aleix is done after 2024

Not sure what to make of Aleix. He has always given 100% on track and persevered through many career setbacks and difficulties. However, he will probably be remembered for his extreme emotional highs and lows, occasional violent outbursts, and the peculiar god-complex that manifests whenever he was towards the top of the pecking order. He seems like a good guy overall, but don't let your guard down.

I could be wrong, but Aleix may not stay away for long. He seems like the sort of guy who can politic his way into another role in the paddock.

I think it's a given he will become the Aprilia test rider, with some wildcards.

Aleix is the superior rider, but I'm surprised because Savadori is still quite young, and Aprilia seemed keen to retain him and reward him for taking the test rider position at such a young age.

Maybe Aprilia will retain them both, though they don't exactly have money to burn. Savadori was linked with an EWC a while back, IIRC. Maybe he's going racing full time.

Sounds like Aleix has suggested he will NOT be riding for Aprilia. Unexpected!

He is known for being outspoken, but that's never bothered me too much. Taken positively it's like a good friend who can tell you when you've f'd up, but of course still wants to get a beer later.

He seems like a good guy, but the thing I find annoying is that he thinks there’s a set of rules for him and then a different set for everyone else.
