This is a cool article on how Pol Espargaro helped his younger brother get into track racing. I hope Aprilia does big things in the premier class. In the video below he says he never expected to be fighting for the title.

And for anyone that didn't see what happened last weekend in Barcelona... www. youtube.com/watch?v=NMUn7_T3L_g (Dorna won't let me post the link on this site)

Based on the end of the last race, he doesn’t have what it takes.

I do wish him well though.

Public service announcement:
marrying your first cousin makes it 16 times more likely that your child doubts aleix espargaro

Aleix is riding well, but for me, he lacks that extra to mount a championship campaign unless his bike is really dominant, which it isn't.

Aleix is changing my opinion of him. The way he was pushing at Assen, I thought for sure he was going to crash but he did not. His move at the chicane was impressive and Jack has no reason to be pissed about it.....if he was. I saw him pointing fingers but maybe just heat of the moment stuff?

Agree that was a stellar performance from Aleix.

Let’s see how he does when it gets tighter.

Can he do it consistently enough though?
Afterall, Petrucci's performance at Mugello in 2019 was stunning, wasn't it..... but then...

IMHO this is not a valid comparison. Aleix has been on the podium a number of times and at the summer break, is a legitimate championship contender. The same was not the case for Petrucci. Ducati had a knee-jerk reaction to one great performance.

Arguably, Aleix has been the most consistent rider this season so far.
