My wife is looking to buy us tickets for this race next year for my 40th birthday

.

I was really looking for some advice from anyone who has been. My wife is in a wheelchair so I don't know how this would affect our view or if it would make it impossible for us to go but if you can let us know, that'd be great.

Also, which stand / viewing area is hte best for atmosphere and views of the race.

Cheers

I can only speak for Indianapolis, but it is very wheelchair excisable. There are elevators to every section, and I do believe areas for wheelchairs in the seating sections. Plus it is very flat and pavement in the infield. She could most definitely get the full experience there.

Plus there would be lots of powerslide members there willing to lend a hand, me included.

i'd definately contact the thread as said before!

they will help you!

or: U ask s.o. who knows (in the forum) bout the "place to be" and then ask if its possible with wheelchair...

Went to Catalunya this year. I'm not 100% sure if parking closer to the stadium is an option, but the walk from parking, although flat is all uphill. There is part of the stadium that has terraced seats with grass banking in front. I'm not sure that there is wheelchair access to the seating areas. We were sat near the last couple of bends (Tribune

and the view was amazing. Just check the circuit map.

If you get the opportunity to go then I highly recommend it. This year of course was an exceptional race, but the whole atmosphere was amazing.

Hi, Not sure about the wheelchair access at the circuit, but I can say that Catalunya is the best organised circuit I have been to, with great facilities.. The car park is quite close to the track (start/finish straight) and there may be an alternative entrance before the uphill walk to the turnstiles? Your best bet is to contact the circuit direct and ask. The views around the track are also some of the best at any circuit I’ve been to. The coach company Sagales also run coaches to and from the circuit from Barcelona (link below) if you stopping there?, they are very good and cheap! You will not be disappointed!!.
