C'mon man, not true, not true at all, the Big Rig is a recovery room, nothing more, I've never eaten there when I was legal to operate a vehicle in the state of Florida, I also don't think I've ever been in there when the sun was up. It's an after hours recovery room......get it right! The place actually sux but it's good when you're blowing a 1.10

I see you found the metal bleachers I told you about Jumkie. It looks like they actually left the TV's in this year. Were you able to watch the 200 from that spot?

I watched one episode of Sons of Anarchy and laughed my ... off. A cast of slim, relatively good-looking (compared to real bikers) actors grow a little facial hair and are passed off as bikers.

Why does being passed or "buzzed" by other motorists make people angry? I never understood that. One of my friends passed someone, his car had a loud exhaust, and the man he passed followed him and yelled at him at the next stop for being "disrespectful." I guess your situation had something to do with Harley guys who dislike "crotch rocket" riders.

I've been given the impression that Florida has a population of 1%ers (Warlocks, 'Angels, etc.). Is this true? If so, do you guys feel the need to carry as a result? Or is it a bike-week-only thing?

Im Not jumkie but heres my opinion
At the actual strip of main st., where most of the Bike week activities take place there were lots of signs thats said No Colors. which i guess meant if you were a 1% you couldnt be runing around with your cute little vest that affliated you with a gang. I didnt see many 1%ers at all the whole time we were there (other than the encounter we had). Someone told me they mostly hang out on the outskirts of town that way they dont get too much heat from the police who are all over Daytona.

Everyone carrys in Florida regardless of the situation because they are lucky enough to have that right.
In California all the government gave us was Gay Marriage but then they took that from us too. It is fairly easy to walk into a pot store and buy High quality Marijuana here in California. Being that I dont smoke I would much rather have the Guns

Thanks brotha, I was glad nothing came of it either. Things could have got ugly quickly.

I totally agree with your take on the Son's of Anarchy show We have Mongols, Vagos, and Hells Angeles around here; they are usually fat and fugly and no joke. BTW, they passed us all crazy to begin with, when they got passed up again, it wasn't that harsh, but they just didn't like anybody else giving a bit of their meds. Like you said, they saw us in sportbikes and didn't like it.

As you can see, most were not 1%ers but rather weekend warriors. (They were taking pics of the drunk dude sleeping on his bike).
