Yup, I have a savings account building for one at the end of the year.
I know this was going to happen to the smaller gp classes with cost of four strokes in all, but I think this is sad when in the gp class you'll find production engines. I hope the racing stays competitive.

I saw these at Road Atlanta and they are trick. The response was very favorable for them becoming a mainstay at AMA events. They will start in WERA this year and hopefully make their way into AMA for 09.
12 Grand that's pretty pricey considering you can get that moter in a dirt bike for about half that.
What's the cost difference between that and a brand new 125 2 stroke?

A stock 125 GP bike is £8000 brand new.
A tricked out 125 GP bike can reach £40,000 each, I know a manager of one of the teams in 125BSB.
Cheaper race bikes has to be the way to go for the future of the sport, sooner the premier class cuts costs the better, gives us fans a bigger more diverse grid and gives teams like Kennys a fighting chance I say.
