The 3rd round of the World Superbike championship will be underway tomorrow. Petrucci is out for a while due to a motocross accident. Anyone know if he has a replacement?

Hopefully this weekend will be a barn burner, but it seems like Ducati are already finding their stride.

I had just got jazzed about the upcoming end-of-race battle between Toprak and Bautista and just like that, it was over. *sigh*

Toprak's move on Alvaro into the chicane was good to see.

World Superbike wouldn’t have much to sell without Toprak. He is a bike control phenom and his point and shoot divebombing is well suited to the current formula and tires.

Congrats to Remy on his first podium. Overdue, but he got it done. When he gets the tires figured out, he should be good. He doesn’t seem to like these slippery soft Pirellis. No surprise he’s done well in near-wintey conditions.

Bautista is definitely not coasting this season, and Bulega’s middling performance is making this season interesting.
