Looking forward to this one. Prediction, Yamahas (Fabs in particular) will come back strong.

I am also looking forward to this race (I look foreword to all of them Ha! Ha!) This is the first time I have visited this site so I am looking forward to some interesting chat. I was with Crash.net but it has been taken over by mentally challenged lunatics.

Welcome. There’s decent enough banter here at a very manageable pace. :)

I always enjoy Mugello. The pit straight up and dip into turn 1 makes for edge of seat action during dog-fights. I think it will be another Ducati win. Bagnaia this time? :p

As long as we don't ever see another Pirro style crash along that straight again.
Generally Mugello makes for a good race, with the way the Duc's are firing though it's hard to see them not winning. The long straight plays into their hands while the twisty parts will allow everyone to catch up, chances are that they'll will just get blasted past on the straight.

Yep, agree mate unless the yams can get a great start and build up a lead going on to the straight. I am also interested to see how Marquez fairs this time.

If there is one thing I have learned over the last season and a half it is that I am bloody awful at predicting a winner. Ha! Ha!:D

We get the loonies here on a regular basis, but they generally don’t last long.
Welcome.

I suspect mate that you would block them if people did what they are doing on that site :)

That was the case years ago. There were moderators who would do that, but they became less and less reachable til eventually, nobody responded to requests for moderation. Mostly what seems to keep the wack-jobs at bay is their allergy to logic and common sense, tho there are a few that can’t resist dropping in from time to time to vomit up the usual irrational angry nonsense. Then their parents take away their computer privileges and we don’t see them for a while.

Ha! Ha! Nice one mate. Just a quick question. How do you post a picture? When you click on it it asks for the web address?

Great track. I can’t help but think it will be Yamaha and Ducati. The fast flowing corners will reward Yamaha and naturally the straight will favor the Duc.

Unless Suzuki and KTM step it up, which I hope they do.

I’ll be pulling for Fabs again. If a Duc, I’d like to see Zarco win a race.

I would like Zarco to do well. He is such a personality in a time in MotoGP where we are lacking such characters I believe.

The lunatics at crash.net also sent me looking for a place to discuss racing without all the nonsense. 5 year-old children are more mature.

Anyway, also looking forward to this race. Ducati has been dominant here but if Yamaha could beat them in Qatar, they can beat them here.

Like last season, it is difficult to know what is going to happen. It seems so strange after a succession of seasons where you could more or less know who would be fighting for podiums the it now seems to change race by race.

I think Pecco is one to be at the sharp end this weekend.

He certainly seems to be a talent. It would seem that this year will be like last year in that top 6 consistency will be the key. Or I could be totally wrong and one rider will start to dominate Ha! Ha!. As I mentioned in a previous post my ability to predict the winners, as with other things, is declining with age! :D:D

Pecco is due for a good result. Plus, he’s Italian and at this track determined Italians have been known to win. Not sure that statement’s worth anything, just chatter ahead of the race! There are also plenty of Spaniards determined to not let an Italian win here so we’ll see.

I hope the sun shines in any event. I wonder if they are letting people in this year? Great atmosphere here when that’s the case.

I don't believe they are which blows. It's time for some normalcy.

Agreed mate. I really want a dry race to see how Marquez stands up to the hi loading on his arm.
