Valentino Rossi- Father time will continue to slip farther down the order, but his alzhimers will get worse.

Danilo Petrucci- congratulations you have leveled up. Sorry your bike is the same and so are your results.

Johann Zarco- and the ktm will be the face of mediocracy

Fabio Quartararo- who?

Karel Abraham- won a contest with his father to be here

Maverick Viñales- wiki definition of underachiever but it will be great to see him come from the back to a solid 4th week in and week out.

Franco Morbidelli- will continue to look more and more like marco sim

Andrea Iannone- he isn't in british super bike yet?

Takaaki Nakagami- token asian

Hafizh Syahrin- token Malaysian

Cal Crutchlow- will continue down the same road. With or without the bike.

Joan Mir- the new french roast

Aleix & Pol Espargaro- will continue to spoon before and after races

Jack Miller- everyone favorite aussies of the last 25 years

Tito Rabat- spanish red head? the ....?

Francesco Bagnaia- meh

Miguel Oliveira- blah

Jorge Lorenzo- has taken over right where dani left off

Andrea Dovizioso- still the most consistent ducati rider of all time. 3rd in the championship

Marc Marquez- will continue to burn through suits faster than they can kill kangaroos to make them. Another championship despite whatever compilations he puts himself through.

Um Joan Mir- the new french roast. He's Spanish.
I agree about most of it, however not to sure about Zarco, he definitely won't be 2nd fiddle to the Asparagus.
Miguel Oliveira, Now I like him and he's proved last year that he's found out how to be a bit tasty at barging past people, expect him to be mid field by the summer break.
Lorenzo I don't know about him, one day he's the sharpest knife in the box, the next he's gone missing, plus hes picked up the Rossi's whinging habits.
I'd like to see Dovi take the next step, he's capable of it now he's got a pliant team mate, all that angst with Lorenzo stuffed him last year.
 
Lorenzo/Pedrosa comparison is disputable. The two riders are worlds apart accomplishment-wise. Lorenzo has won multiple championships and has never backed down from a scrap. Depending on how Marquez’s shoulder develops Honda may think themselves very fortunate in having nabbed him. Mark my word - in 2019 ..... race commentators will be regularly trying to build up drama during races by tagging on some kind of qualifer line like, Marquez has it wrapped up . . . if his shoulder holds up.

Anyhoo . . . Regardless of whether I disagree or not with Dubs - I defend his right to be wrong.

Could be, but I don't hold out any great hopes in either direction of these 2 riders. I like Miller, but he's been stamped on for all the time he's been in motogp, must cause a few problems for him.

Quatararo, is IMO to haphazard, has the odd great race, followed by a shambles.

As an aside, I don't like these after race year ends excursions for the noobs in each class, it all looks a bit contrived by the idiots that run the series, anything to grind out more money, in fact I'd say its heading the same way as F1, football, Olympics, road racing on bicycles. Sports that I have given up on over the last few years.

Both Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo will now have 2019 bikes. However, Morbidelli's A spec will get updates just two-four races after the factory team, with a delay of around six or seven races for rookie Quartararo.

"Crash.net understands that the main difference for Quartararo's (cheaper) B spec bike is that he will have only five engine changes per season, instead of the seven changes allowed.

That means Quartararo will have less RPM than the other three Yamaha riders in order to lengthen the life of his engines."

Wow that'll help won't it. :confused: Hobble him before he starts.
