Its time to `fess up folks.I myself tipped Kenny Noyes to blitz Moto2 but its gone .... up big time, but on the flip side I plumped for Ben Spies to do well and he hasn`t dissapointed us.So come on,how are your tips faring? Don`t worry about being embarrassed......I don`t.

well lets see if i can remember..... i know i predicted at least a couple of podiums for spies with a possible win tossed in (thinking either indy or laguna being his best shot) so close on the win.....
<
figured lorenzo or rossi for the championship. figured pedrosa would get his seasonal 2 wins...
<
thought simone would be the top moto 2 rider & figured terol for top125 rider.

I expected it to be a 3 way battle for the championship between rossi stoner and lorenzo. Shame about Rossi
<
. Had no idea Pedrosa would be this strong. Spies is doing better than I expected, I mean i knew he was good but its hard to expect a SBK guy to show up in Motogp and be fast right away. But anyway im glad Spies is doing well I've followed him since the AMA days.

As for Moto2, I knew Elias would be doing as good as he is. Thought De Angelis would be up there as well.

125s: Marquez just came out of nowhere, I was thinking it would be between Terol and Espargaro with hopefully Espargaro coming out on top.

GP I had Lorenzo picked to win the championship (very likely).

Pedrosa only to get 2 wins (he has beat that).

Spies to pick up 1 podium (he has already topped that with 2).

Hayden to finish top 5 on the year (still a possibility).

Moto2 I figured Elias would take it (very likely).

I expected the vets with 4 stroke experience like West, De Angelis, and Nieto to do well (they haven't).

I never saw Iannone as a potential 4 stroke fast guy. I think he surprised everyone.

125, I had Smith as a favorite for the championship, due to his 2nd last year ( the other guys have really stepped up their game, especially Marquez and Espargaro).

We had the exactly the same thoughts on MotoGp and Elias in Moto2

Never got round to thinking about the 125's

1. I predicted Rossi to win but he failed completely. Also I expected dani at 4th next to Stoner or Lorenzo but this guy has proved me wrong.

2. I expected Toni to be on top and he is there :)

3. I expected Bradely Smith a lot but he is not that competitive this year..

Why doesn't somebody just bump the season predictions thread. I probably got them all wrong. I think I pick Casey for the title. At least I knew Spies would be rookie of the year.

I think "failed completely" is a bit misleading/harsh. He had a nasty injury that took away his shot at the title chase. Now if he was healthy all season and got beat straight up, then yes he would have failed at a title defense.

Last year showed that you really can't mess up more than 2 races and still expect to end up with the title......those 4 races ended any chance (unless Lorenzo/Pedrosa/Stoner all had the same fate of missing 100 points)

MotoGP: Pretty much as I thought with Lorenzo and Pedrosa up top, though I thought Casey would have a better season than he has. I didn't think Bautista would be any good, but he's really impressed me the last 4 or 5 rounds.

Moto2: Elias and Simon being so quick is no surprise, but I didn't expect to see the likes of Tomizawa, Iannone and Cluzel to be winning races. I thought we might see more from DeAngelis, DiMeglio and DeRosa but they've not done much at all.

125: Other than Bradley not winning races it's as I thought.

I've been really surprised at the length of time it's taken for Ducati to sort out the bike.

Really thought Stoner would be battling for at least 2nd or 3rd in the championship.

Spies right on track.

Rossi... who could have predicted the crash?

Same for Aoyama who I thought would be close behind Spies.

For-sure (A Rossi-im that seems to have taken hold here) - knew that Yamaha would not retain both Vale and Lorenzo going into 2011.

Otherwise - no big surprises.

I didn't meant to be so harsh here its just the reflection of my disappointment. I agree that the crash has made a huge impact in his title hunt but still, I would have been happy if he is back to race later at 100% healthy and competitive rather coming back so soon just fill the grid and still struggle for a podium.. after all I am a fan and it hurts to see him not winning :)

wow i picked stoner to win...... i did'nt remeber that....... lorenzo 2nd rossi 3rd.....hmmmm.
