Hayden - I do feel for hayden but i think theres only so many times u can say the next race will be better. Maybe its something to do with his temprement which is keeping him at honda? I think hes lost some of his fighting determination to gt him the wins, we saw it when he battled stoner. For me, hayden is past his best and i dont think anythign sparkling will arise.

Once again it's tinks bashing on Hayden. Big surprise. Lost some fighting determination? He's been pushing hard every race since he got the bike sorted out at the beginning of the season. He isn't just cruising around like Colin. He's out there pushing and fighting. Did you see him crawling up Stoner's exhaust pipe before his bike blew up in Australia?

I still think you have some kind of personal grudge against him. He beat your golden boy Rossi. Boo-hoo. That doesn't warrant the kind of stuff you say about him!
<

We'll see some more sparkles from Hayden, mark my words.

yea he gave it a good go last race, hes trying very hard but Honda has not been the same team since Vale left, and they had Doohan before that doing the business for them.

BTW I've been wanting to ask this:

Is Rossi an ..... for switching to tires he has never ridden on--tires that have never been fitted to a 4-stroke Yamaha?

Yes he is

Ducati
Have a strong line up, Stoner- Melandri. The Satellite team looks the goods as well. It be interesting to see how Toni Elías goes on the Ducati. He has the best riding style in my opinion.
Yamaha
Darkhorse Lorenzo, not sure how the "team" will work with Rossi/Lorenzo and the fact that Rossi possibly being on Bridgestones.
Big fan of JT but i think it will be a tough first year for him.
Colin Edwards well........"no comment"
Honda
Honda will get there .... together and come out swinging in 08. Im expecting the factory duo to be strong but im not sure about the satellite teams
Dovi will be the best of the satellite riders.
Kawasaki
Hopper, the change of scenery should do him good and to be honest im not sure about westy.
suzuki
Cappirossi eh? Im hoping he gets along with the GSV-R 800.CV should be strong in 08
KR
Im hoping KR makes it on the grid......

i dont think that ive said anything offensive to hayden there. This thread is about peoples opinions on 2008, your just trying to bash me to support your argument for hayden. I would like to see hayden do well as he seems a nice guy but i just dont know if it will happen.
Also, nowhere have i said HE WILL i said i think.
As for having a grudge against him because he "beat rossi" well we all have our different opinions on that. I suggest you purchase a punchbag and resolve your problems that way instead of trying to turn a thread into an argument.

I also can't wait for the 2008 season in 125 and especially the Moto GP class. I really hope James Toseland will do well. Really can't wait for his testing in mid November to see how he does.

Im withyou on hat one. JT rocks. Cant wait to see how he does.
I just hope that the Tech 3 squad have got some major plans for his bike next season.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mylexicon @ Oct 26 2007, 02:37 PM) <div class='quotemain'>

I think Stoner's best hope is that he can have a Lawson like career. Not half bad
<
But I can't see dominance over half a decade. Who knows? It will be fun to watch.

As you imply, I am sure casey would not be completely displeased if he ends up having a lawson-like career.

I hope tech 3 will give him a good bike. If Guntoli can do well on the bike then surely James Toseland can.

with michelins it will instantly be capable of moving up 7 or more grid slots.

Absolutely - however its going to be pretty crowded up there next year. As I recall, Toseland did demand equal machinery to FIAT Yamaha as part of his deal.

All the teams will have a Desmo/Air Valve set up. All will have big dustbin fairings and all the tyre manufacturers will have a years worth of 800cc data.

Next year we will have:

The world MotoGP Champion
The Ex World MotoGP Champion
The 250 world champion
The World SBK Champion
And V. Rossi, multiple world MotoGP champion
and we might see Ben Spies from the AMA on the odd occassion next year....

Truly a championship of champions!

On the subject of tyre manufacturers, I cant believe that they're going to let the Dunlop money walk out of MotoGP. AFAIK, they poured a fair few mill into Tech3....amazing. Kenny should get the Ducati 07's and get Dunlop to sponsor him.

I think they should try to keep Dunlop they run the 125 and 250 for Dorna so deserve some respect.

Their tyres are getting a little better too.

I haven't read everything here as I can't be bothered but I have one opinion which is that I don't think Lorenzo will be anything special. Why so, he's a double 250 champ I hear you ask. Well Biaggi was a 4 time 250 champ and he became an also ran. Mark my words, Jorge will not win a race next year (which Max did in his 1st year) and I think he won't even make the podium.

#1 prediction: horhey will finish ahead of rossi.

#2 rossi will be discontent and be forced to move to another team. though the press realse will say rossi choose to go to another team.

#3 Most likely Rossi will go back to Honda, even possibly back to the repsol team

i hear you but the bikes are more like 250 now. Biaggi has never been on the 800.

Stoner didn't win a 250 world championship but he was close up there behind Pedrosa and these guys are at the front now along with Rossi a former 250cc champion.

I absolutely agree with you!
