2006 predictions

I think it would be a good idea to post our predictions for 2006, and after one year take a look back at our predictions and see how wrong (or right) we were.

The questions to answer will be:

1.- Who will be the champion?
2.- How will be the best rookie?
3.- How will Gibbs do on the red bike?
4.- Will Rossi beat the 12 wins record?
5.- Top 5 riders?

3.- Better than this year, he will win some races

I think Vale Will go very close to 12 wins again!

Stoner for best rookie cause he adapted to the 250s very quickly and i think it will be the same for the 990s

1.- Who will be the champion? Valentino ofcourse
2.- How will be the best rookie? stoner
3.- How will Gibbs do on the red bike?not good, first year he needs to adapt to this bike
4.- Will Rossi beat the 12 wins record?nope
5.- Top 5 riders

1.- Who will be the champion? ROSSI
2.- How will be the best rookie? STONER SEEMS FAST AND HASNT GOT HRC PRESSURE ON HIM LIKE DANNY. IM UNDECIDED BETWEEN PEDROSA AND STONER.
3.- How will Gibbs do on the red bike? SAME AS TEO. BETTER THAN THIS YEAR. WILL WIN RACES.
4.- Will Rossi beat the 12 wins record? NO. I THINK 2006 WILL BE TOUGHER FOR ROSSI THAN 2004 AND 2005
5.- Top 5 riders? ROSSI-MELANDRI-HAYDEN-CAPIROSSI-EDWARDS

1.don't see anyone beating rossi for the championship. 2.this i think is the toughest prediction. i think it will def be between pedrosa & stoner. but i don't think there's going to be any pressure put on either of them ( except from themselves maybe ) no honda or team pressure at all. pressures on hayden, checa, caparossi & sete ( to an extent ) melandri, hopkins, nakano. these are the guys who'll have to produce race in race out. 3. is the curse broken yet ?! 4. no. ithink he's in for a tougher time in 06. i figure him for 7 to 10 wins... but always on the box. his opponents biggest problem. 5. rossi--hayden--melandri--caparossi--gibernau. the main players for 06.
