TBH, a lot of people probably don't come around anymore because other things take precedent over rehashing the same old controversies. People get married, get reacquainted with old friends at the pub, get strung out on drugs etc. Expecting any forum to remain the same for multiple decades is like expecting to remain fast and close friends with everybody you knew in high school. A few members mentioned are actually still occasionally active. As has been inferred before (not to mention proved by Barry and Crazy Ex Girlfriend) some members are content to lurk about or pop in now and then to see if they've been mentioned.

It is particularly peculiar that people skulk and lay down a snipe or a 'like' but don't talk about the racing. Good golly. At least throw out some trash talk about Marc or Cal or something, before you sidle off to the hinterland. Best of lurking!
