So for those of us who saw what happened today, the size of the error and its consequences go without saying, but what do you think actually happened? Was he waving at Terol as an objection to his riding at some point earlier in the race/lap? It seems to me like it's the worst .... up since Simon threw away a GP win in Barcelona by celebrating before the race was even over.

He had the upper hand on Terol pace wise after the half way mark. I think he wanted to play with Terol to show his dominance. Hence the first weird moment, I think it was with about 9 laps to go, when he overtook Terol, but that than looked back at him at the start finish straight. Looked to me like he was taunting him. At that point he should've just taken off and everything would've been fine. But he purposely let Terol reovertake him, I think. Then, with 2 laps to go, he did overtake Terol and I think at that point was all set to take off, but made a mistake and ran wide somewhere. Perhaps that's when it hit that him that his own cockiness earlier may just have cost him the race and possibly the championship. And I think that's when he went into full on crazy mode. Coming out of the last corner, I imagine he was already convinced Terol would come out of his slipstream and beat him to the line. So he went crazy and did his stupid move. The irony of course being that, had he simply kept his head down and the gas open, he'd probably won.

Lot's of if's and but's, but that's how interpreted it.

Your text reply doesn't match your vote on the poll!!

Also, 125cc riders sitting up and letting each other past is not unusual, even close to the end of the race. But not on the run to the line on the final lap

Then you should have taken more care with your answering categories. I picked what appeared to me to be most in line with my thoughts.

... And then disagreed with yourself in your supporting text, haha

he should have kept his head down and he might have won it

sitting up a little and looking back cost him

he had a brain fade after he exited the last corner slow

thinking had lost it.but it wasn't clear cut as that imo he would have won it

if he had raced to the line

I think he thought he had the race in the bag and looked back to taunt terol only to find him on his tailpipe and in the slipstream. And take the race from him again! Hence the crazyness after.

I think he was so paranoid about the speed of Terol's bike that when he got a less than perfect exit from the last corner he was convinced he'd lost the race. He must feel seriously sick knowing that he would likely have got to the line first if he'd just got on with it

I dont know WTF he was doing. What a plonker he is. Before his antics on the finish line a couple of laps before he took a real long look behind him which let Terol close the gap. Then that stunt to the finish line had me rolling with laughter. Had he just kept his head down he would have won.

I am going off on my own conspiracy theory that Zorco is a puppet hired by dorna to find new and amazing ways to lose week after week. Give that dude an Emmy for daytime drama.

People like Zarco are creepy killers in the making. When things don't go the way they like, they act out in such a manner that is soo bizaare that there's really no reason for their display of anger and emotions. Like in this case the dude just slowed down and seemed like he wanted to either hit Terol or push him off the bike. It was like his mind went to 'killer zone'..... and he only 'came to' after he saw the checkered flag.

Pscyho traits if you ask me.
