any 1 c the 125 race kallios team m8 done him on the line and with luthi bak in 6th
i thought he was wrong any veiws lads? ktm dont seem happy .

Yeah they just interviewed Kallio during 250cc race and Kallio sounded somewhat pissed. KTM had told both Talmacsi and Simon to help Kallio and so Mika was told not to worry about his team-mates. So you can imagine Kallio and KTM couldn't believe their eyes when Talmacsi actually passed him in the end.

talmacsi still has a chance ( small perhaps ) to win the title. don't be to harsh on him. on the other hand if he did have orders he should have followed them. just think what would happen if kallio loses the title by 5 points!

I heard talmasci say it was a mistake that he overtook kallio for the finishline. on eurosport he told that he saw the race bord saying he had 1 lap to go, and he saw the blocked flag to late. he's already making his excuses to kallio and ktm with this story, but I don't believe him yet.I think he wanted this race fictory, and that he may could have a new contract already with another team for next year and that he thought: scrw everybody, I'm gonna take the win!! I could be wrong, but that's how it feels to me right now
I don't think KTM will be so happy with this fictory

Don't think it was a wrong thing he did, he rides for himself and like frosty58 said, he still has a (small) change to win the title

These are young guys who all want to win, so it's in a way understandable. I think Kallio was mostly pissed because he felt betrayed. He said something along the lines that if he knew he had to race against his team-mate he'd of course played his card differently. But was it wrong, since it's racing after all?

But even if Kallio lost 5 points, I think this matter is mostly between Talmacsi and KTM. After all he is just a hired hand driving their bikes, it's not like team is there just for Talmacsi. Everything was agreed before race, KTM heading for their first(?) 125cc championship and Talmacsi let's them down for personal glory. Since it was clear to everybody what happened, it made KTM look bad. Wonder if people at Honda and Aprilia are still laughing...

subedei, i agree with you. It wasn't smart of talmasci to take over and win the race, in front of kallio. maybe he did realy made a mistake, maybe it wasn't, and if he didn't made one, I can understand why he took over the race and won.

I just read on crash.net that ktm did ordered talmasci and simon to stay behind kallio if he was to lead the race and I can see why they decided it, but I don't like the idea that this was already decided before the race. I like to think that every rider wants to win, and not let another rider win because he's higher in championship even he is your teammate. the true champ is the one that is the best all over the season.

but if KTM and talmasci decided this talmasci should have followed it.

welcome on the forum by the way!

Team orders are team orders. I don't like them but if you're a rider and you're ordered to stay behind your teammate to help your team win the World Championship, then you should do it. It doesn't really bother me that this happened, I kind of feel bad for the guy because who knows what actions KTM may take. He could be looking for a new ride in 2006 and a rider who disobeys team orders doesn't look very good to a team that wants to win a title.

OOOST I AGREE BUT THING THAT BUGS ME THAT HE NEVER SEEMED TO SAY SORRY TO KALLIO, UVE GOT TO B A TEAM PLAYER AND THATS THE THING TEAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Commentators interviewed Harald Bartol during the race and he said "There were no team orders" !!!!! so hey whats the problem

Kalio is acting like a tosser

Good on Talmacsi well done rode a superb race
